Abstract
This research is to analyze the title Intirnsic Element of Eka Kurniawan Beauty is a Wound, the author in the novel Eka Kurniawan, the translator is Annie Tucker, the character in the novel Beauty is a Wound is named Dewi Ayu, the publisher was in 2002, the purpose of this research is to find out what owned by Dewi Ayu such as Anger, Love, Sadness, Disgust. If the Intrinsic Element Theory can be used, such as Characteristic, Plot, Conflict to analyze in explanations and use the results of novel analysis, the results of this research show the main characters experienced by Dewi Ayu who is around Dewi Ayu. The author also discovered what Dewi Ayu faced.
